Maersk Air Welcomes Its Second Boeing B777F: Maersk Nightingale

Maersk Air is set to enhance its fleet with the arrival of its second and final Boeing B777F, named ‘Maersk Nightingale’. This addition is part of Maersk’s ongoing fleet modernization efforts, which began with placing of an order for two B777Fs in November 2021.

After delivering its first B777F aircraft (OY-MAC) in July of this year, Maersk Air Cargo is now preparing to receive the second aircraft, further boosting its operational capacity. Once delivered, the Maersk Air Cargo fleet will consist of two Boeing 777Fs alongside 17 Boeing 767Fs.

The inclusion of the B777Fs will enhance Maersk’s ability to provide efficient and reliable air cargo services, meeting growing global demand and reinforcing its commitment to modernization and sustainability in the aviation sector.
